This was done in March 2006 when Denis was in Seattle for the tionoil. I lured him to my house, under false pretences,I told him pipes sounded good....in my kitchen. He tried to prove me wrong....

  • Denis was in Seattle in March for the Tionoil. The day before his house concert at Tom Creegans he warmed up the pipes at my house. There is another vid of some airs he played which were brilliant. Will post.

  • Hi Denis, Great to see you are still going strong and playing lots of tunes. Dick McBroom (ex Berzerkeley) here and still molesting his unfortunate fiddle over in Pattaya, Thailand at the Shamrock Bar. Paddy Keenan comes down occasionally to play a few tunes, as does Mick Moloney, but most of the time the irish music is a bit thin on the ground. I miss listening to yourself a nd Max Parsley and the gang. Best regards !

  • Absolutely wonderfull. I wish I was in that kitchen with a Newcastle or 10

  • Absolutely wonderfull

  • that's great. I'm learning this on the mandolin and it's great to hear this as a reference. It seems to go well with Dunphy's Hornpipe.

  • Hey Fin, Any more gems from your kitchen?
