On March 25, 2009, over 250 Cincinnnatians joined at Grammers in OTR for the official launch of Cincinnatians for Progress. Honorary Chairman Mayor Mark Mallory addressed the packed house and outlined how Cincinnatians for Progress will work to defeat the proposed Anti-Progress Charter Amendment that would throw a wrench in the City's plans to develop any passenger rail in the city limits. This proposal will cost Cincinnati jobs and bring California-style government by referendum to our city.
Cincinnati needs to be moving forward. We can't let the same old naysayers keep holding out City back. Cincinnatians for Progress will work to ensure the Anti-Progress Amendment is defeated in November.
