Scarborough Fair

NONE OF THE MATERIAL USED BELONGS TO ME. THE ANIME USED IS PRINCESS TUTU, MADE BY IKUKO ITOH, AND THE SONG "SCARBOROUGH FAIR" IS BY THE BAND CELTIC WOMAN; I HAVE NO LEGAL TIES TO EITHER AND DO NOT COMBINE THESE WORKS WITH THE IDEA OF PROFIT.

This was just a project I decided to do for fun, as a small celebration of my Christmas present of the Christmas album and the New Journey album by Celtic Woman, which has quickly become one of my very favorite bands. Their voices are so pure, and Hayley Westenra, in particular, who sings this version of Scarborough Fair, really caught me. The way she sings this is so dreamy and yet so sincere, it's hard not to love. It made me see Ahiru in my mind's eye for a moment, for how she dreamed of dancing with the prince...so this is a bit of AU in a way, following a girl's dream to dance with her true love at the annual Scarborough Fair. The bright stuff are her daydreams, while gray scenes are her memories. This isn't my best AMV by far, but I enjoyed making it all the same. I hope you enjoy!

I just loved the transition from Mytho to Fakir. It makes the video that much sweeter. I think this song is on one of Hayley Westenra's albums that is separate from Celtic Woman.
