@dallywally72 I don't mean to be rude but if you didn't know foreign languages use less words then English does. In other word you're basically saying the fact that we translated the bible is changing God's word. Which isn't true we simply "translated" it. We didn't "change" anything we made it as to were people who speak English understand. Get what I mean?

The jehovah's witnesses are an insidious cult of fanatics. They are like the taliban, instead of guns and bombs to spread their religious dogma, they have perfected brainwashing. So many lives have been ruined by them. EXPOSE THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE...EVIL

@Mustanich ::: Since we have no originals, how do we know what we have now is "God's Word"?

@dallywally If Jesus is, as the KJV translates it "the firstborn of all creation" then the word "other" is implied in the text by the use of the word "all".
In scripture "all" does not necessary mean everything
Are you suggesting that Paul meant Christ created himself Vs16?
That Jesus was before God the Father Vs17?
That Christ, too, needed reconciled to God Vs20?
I believe "other" is a necessary to this passage especially, because of those who wish to negate "firstborn of all creation"

@DaynaPoo99 Colossians 1:15-16 is understandable to me without the usage by the NWT of the bracketed added word {other}, 4 times. Obviously the governing body decided upon the behalf of Jehovah's Witnesses that keeping Paul's inspired writing as is would have confused alot of people about what they were taught about Jesus. The governing body thus was wiser than Paul and his God inspired written verses. I am being sarcastic. Pulling words out of air and adding them to bible verses is WRONG!

All translations including the KJV insert words to make things clearer. If you want the purest revelation of God's Word then learn how to read Hebrew and Greek.
The word other is in brackets these type of brackets: [ ]
The words in those brackets are added so that it can make sense in english, and so you can understand better, because rlly if you took out those words in the brackets, sometimes the translation will be confusing, it's there to prevent confusion.

@dallywally72 (Colossians 1:16-17) "because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him."
That looks like All other to me... Q: "would that be a lie?" A: No. It's right there.
