The toys in this line were supposed to be part of the last wave of Star Wars "Power of the Force" figures but were instead rebranded for the "Droids" line.

Yeah I noticed that to. A more realistic craft woulda been a Y-Wing, or if they thought of the expanded universe Z-95 it would have been better still !

It's funny, the Droids cartoon was supposed to be set in between Eps iii and iv, in yet the A-wing is supposed to be designed after episode iv.
