@BreastsInspector you are wrong, i play this game since sf2 and ryu really was my main for like 2 years. In those 2 years i was really curious what he controls so i decided to do some research. I allready know he controls judo, cause both his grabs are judo based moves. his uppercut, standing and sweep are karate based. But he has a lot another crazy moves wich i dunno and i decided to check the official SF wikipedia, and they know BEST for every character ! check it yourself.

@TprideZ What people often mistaken that third one for is really Kyokushinkai. Don't get me wrong, I used to think it was Shotokan as one of the TWO defenses he trains in, but when I began to take a closer look at what he does, it's really Kyokushinkai. Therefore, it's Kyokushinkai and Judo. Thing is, Kyokushinkai is a style of Karate. There are several Karate-Do styles. Shotokan is another. However ! ... All together he trains in a non-existent art (or style) of Ansatsuken. =P

@pbzkfdt11 that technique its based on the real life my friend, i dont know how to use it but you have to focus the energy of every cell of your boby and that make your fist kick chop lots of times more powerfull...but dont believe only in me you can see it in youtube there is a lots of videos of people breaking bricks :) anything its possible my friend but you have to make it happen
