  • right, watch any video of subs on the internet, itll sound like that. Few camcorder mics will pic up a frequency that low without some tagalong feedback.

Theyre cool though, Theyre Polk db212-2's and theyre getting cheaper and cheaper at Circuit City...the sound quality, range and SPL are amazing, and theyre VERY efficient.

  • You're absolutely right, but what youre hearing is the air moving, not the actual note. If you listen clsely, you can hear the voice over on the track saying "10 cycles...11 cycles"

  • Sounds like my old laundry machine xd

  • Wonderful...it can reproduce distortion wonderfully. If it was truely distortion free and playing 10Hz, all you'd see is the subs move and there would be no audio except for the chick voice.

  • TOUCH IIIITTT!!!

  • Yeah doesnt sound quite right theyd just be moving silently and in this case the air moving could be distorting the mic

  • @Imsupafly420 So the vibrations that travel through the air is sound which is made by the woofer moving in and out through a voice coil and magnet configuration. Which displaces air as it moves!

  • @1FMF2 Sound is not moving air. Sound is vibrations. They can move through air, solids, water, almost anything. Unless it is sound proof of course. That is where your ear drums come in, they feel the vibrations in the air, are vibrated them selves, then send that vibration information to your brain and then it is turned into what you hear.

  • @svtcontour Moving air is essentially what sound is right? So therefore the camera would distort due to sound pressure levels it cannot handle... Also how close the camera is to the woofer.

  • @1FMF2 So what if its moving air. The movement of the woofer at 10Hz doesnt mean that there is output at 10Hz...or do you not get that? LOL.

  • @svtcontour LOL its moving air do you not get this?

  • @theinfredibled lol, the actual note is the air moving. I don't know what you meant by that but i don't think it's that

  • sounds like a fuckin helicopter

  • sounds like my neighbor getting it on
