@charlez4life Just make sure your Sprint Touch Pro2 has at least 50% battery, is plugged up to the computer and have a solid connection to Active Sync / Windows Mobile Device Center. Download & save the Sprint MR | 03.19.2010 file from link above. After it's finished downloading, run the file and follow the on screen instructions. Takes about 10-15 minutes and its 2 of 10 difficulty so its super simple.

is this also available for verizon? :[. i really like your phone and i plan on getting it on the next month or so. i don't want to be stuck with the boring 6.1. If you find out if this update is also available for the verizon brand, please let me know.

@iEmLiz No, I just checked HTC.COM and there is no update for the Verizon TP2 model. Looks like you will be stuck with crappy 6.1 Since your with Verizon I would get the HTC Droid Incredible or the new HTC Droid X that comes out next month. Me personally, I just bought the HTC EVO4G like 3 days ago...Im selling my TP2 soon.

@clariceave Thanks for the info. But I am a newbie about upgrading the phone. Do I have to unlock my phone to do the upgrade? Do I need to back all mu phone info before upgrade? Will the uograde wipe anything on the phone? Will I need to reinstall all my apps after upgrade.
