This is the official former world record for solving a Rubik's cube in 7.08 seconds for a single solve. It was the reigning world record from 13th July 2008 until 13th November 2010.

The trick is to be distracted by something so cubing is not priority anymore.

Erik is the real best speedcuber! He was speecubing back when there was rubik's brands, and not the assistance of zhanchi's....If you put a zhanchi in this scramble for him, he'd do a lot better!
