It's very difficult to consider advice given by anyone on behalf of Pet Land, a chain of pets stores that sells dogs, cats, birds and reptiles when there are so many in need of rescue from shelters or available for adoption on websites like Craigslist (even pure breds.) My Macaw and Umbrella Cockatoo were both adopted off Craigslist and I love them dearly. Parrots often outlive their owners and get passed down to well meaning relatives who end up posting them on Craigslist.
