Elizabeth Nakasone, a USC graduate who was among the first cohort to receive Honors in Multimedia Scholarship from the Institute for Multimedia Literacy (at USC's School of Cinematic Arts), discusses her project, a Flash-based Web text that explains her research on the role of toxin-antitoxin pairs in e-coli. This research, which examines the role of programmed cell death, has implications for many areas of science and medicine.
