@cmammlj Unlike those that had been presumed dead like Hope and Steve, Isabella had a real disease that they knew was going to kill her. She didn't die from an "accident" like Steve nor was she believed to be dead like Hope after the cage explosion.

My heart went out to Isabella. Her world was completely turned upside down by these events but she also was able to see that the man she knew as her father was totally sick and evil. I never understood one thing though. Why didn't Ernesto also target Steve since Steve had been married to his real daughter Marina and Kayla had been accused of her murder.

They were a wonderful couple. Isabella was one of the best characters Days ever created. They should've brought her back from the dead like most everyone else.
