  • I'm gutted to see you have moved on from your RSM 250 !! I'll have to look at your new shallow tank setup .... Thanks for the help with setting up the chiller - just one question about your recommendation to add to the moonlights on the tank - what did you use ? I've looked at the tmc aquaray/beam but wondered if you chose something else ?

    Best wishes

    Tony

  • @MrBilgemonster Tony - I can't think what I bought now, but you don't need the Aquarays - total overkill on the wallet for moonlights. Just buy a 300mm stip of blue waterproof LED's from ebay and fit them to the inside of the light cover, they will chuck out a lot of blue light for the effect you are after and they only cost about £10!

  • really useful.

Can you tell me - does your setup mean the right hand pump only works when the chiller comes on - or does the pump always work pumping water, but the chiller only 'cools' the water when it drops below a certain temperature ?

    Thnx

  • @MrBilgemonster Yeah thats right - the chiller will decide when to chill based upon its own internal thermometer - therefore, you keep flowing your water through it all the time - I replied to your other comment about set up also!

  • well done mate, i'm just considering to buy rsm 250, your video really help me, thanks

by the way could you tell me where did you buy the rsm 250 in uk?

  • thanks, I bought it from charter house aquatics.
