MOVIES ON THE NICKEL/ SKID ROW PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

Hello my people,
Today we stopped by skid row's Movie On The Nickel where we spoke with the founder, Mr. Wendell Blassingame. For over the past four years now Wendell has run top-flight new movies for the community in James Woodson Community Center on the corners of 5th and San Julian Streets in the heart of Skid Row. The majority of the participants are often the homeless persons who really appreciate what cannot only be considered good healthy entertainment but it also serves as a safe-heaven where all the drugs and madness that lives 24/7 just a few short feet away are never allowed in side the center. Mr. Blassingame's Movies on the Nickel is open to the public both Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm to 9:00pm; a downtown drug free space. We commend the excellent and consistent job Wendell Blassingame has maintain from start to present.
