On the contrary, he often speaks of his EGO and how he is working on minimizing it, and he also mentions he doesn't believe it's possible for us to be completely EGO free unless we reach GOD Consciousness, which he says only a very few number of people have ever done in human history. ...and he wears a $17,000 watch! What is the use of a $17,000 watch!? That is enormous vanity - if Wayne is really enlightened and living with the ebb and flow of the earth he would have consciousness about money, material wealth and an awareness of need vs. want. What is the use of identifying your ego if you still engage in feeding it with fleeting vanities? I hope Wayne well with his battle with cancer and much strength, but appreciating wealth instead of accepting humility is not Gods way.

love is an energy that wins above all ... it does not come from the heart,, it is an energy that comes from our penel gland or soul... he is building some thing referd to as the light in him self by sharing what he can with what he has and what he learned... you are thinking with your mind, and pride makes us all want to be write,,, thats why it is negative... be possitive..:)

@Butchgeorgejarrell If you are new to Wayne Dyer, then you probably are a newbie to a lot of new age spiritual based philosophy (just an assumption based on what you wrote). There are a lot of spiritual guides and educators, be very wary with the ones who preach for profit. Wayne makes a lot of good points in this video, but he has a lot to learn about addiction and from what he is saying: money itself.

you did share recovering addict,, Im sorry,, i missed that,,,, look at the sins of the flesh,, and figure out how they make your brain high,, then look at how your drug of choice makes your brain high,, then beet all the sins of the flesh ,, one of them is (ego) or pride....

@Butchgeorgejarrell your perception on positivity is quite skewed. This world is full of positives and negatives - you can't ignore the reality of the negative with wishful positive thinking. Intention with LOVE means doing the hard work, not taking the easy way out. Real love includes bravery of the heart, it has nothing to do with money. I am sure that the addict was thrilled with the energy the ego received.

myself.. I am just me,, but some have called me a light worker.. ignorance is what people have because they dont listen and learn life,, the first place to start is with ones self,, win we master ones self then we can cary on to share what we have found,, until we get their we share our journey..

@Butchgeorgejarrell good point about education Wayne Dyer has a PHd. Sitting down with the addict, sharing food and listening to him as a equal human being resonates a much higher frequency than throwing money at him.

@Butchgeorgejarrell I am an energy worker/recovering addict/student in addiction therapy, so I do think I understand what I am talking about. I am not saying Wayne Dyer is a bad man, he used poor judgment to feel magnanimous. I am passionate about this because under no circumstances should an addict ever be enabled - no one is perfect, including myself and including Wayne Dyer. The reality of addiction is grim, you really cannot create positives by ignorance of the negative.
