Shoes indoors....
interesting.....
May I ask why?
Sorry if it seems rude but I see no point in having shoes on inside the house
-
I'm from Finland and I wouldn't dare to wear shoes and walk around someones home. Taking your shoes of at the door when you have come inside is the norm here. Everyone has a little entry room just for leaving your shoes and usually the coat too. And you never see allover carpets - I don't understand how they keep those things clean in America...especially with their shoes on :D Must be a lot of work!

Love it, a place for everything and everything in it's place. This is my motto1 There is no excuse for a messy home, ever!!! xx

I hope I can do those suggestions because my house is rarely clean. It's so frustrating.

@naturalbeautyCO Do you have a sling, baby wrap or sometype of baby carrier? It frees up your hands to clean.

Love it Marnie! I am motivated to get up and de-clutter, and maybe do a bit of cleaning. So happy I found this channel.

I've never gone to someone's house and left my shoes on or vise versa. I can't believe people would wear shoes inside their home. That sounds filthy!

Hi Marnie, in Canada we always take our shoes off in homes. That saves us from tons on dirt and dust. I have a basket in my front closet with slippers for guests. We all walk around the house with slippers. I clean my house in stages. I do one floor at a time. Monday is middle floor, Tuesday top floor and wed basement. Then the rest of the week I maintain by swiftering the floors. I always clean the kitchen after meals and do a mini vac after meals. I do laundry 2-3 times a week. I keep a spray

Here's my cleaning schedule (in case anyone wants an idea): Monday: Clean bathroom toilet & bathroom sink Tuesday: Clean shower Wednesday: Dusting Thursday: Laundry (dirty clothes & towels) Friday: Clean fridge, deep clean stove Saturday: Laundry (blankets, bed sheets, pillow cases) Sunday: Vacuum, mop Daily cleaning: 1. Make bed, clean bedroom 2. Put any dirty clothes that is around in the hamper 3. Clean dishes 4. Clean counters, table, stove (Hope this helps someone!)

ur advices make me being better woman!
I have a 4 month old who NEVER takes naps, seemingly. Do you have any tips on keeping a clean house with a baby? How did it work for you when your kids were itty bitty?

@naturalbeautyCO Keeping a clean house was super easy when they were babies-they didn't move or make a mess! Just have a place for all the toys, and that should make your life a lot easier.

Arg! Wish I could get my home office to look as clean as your house does. Unfortuantely, it's all over the place, papers hanging out of everywhere. I'm really hoping to win the Pimp my Cube contest (google it, it's like pimp my ride but for an office) and get a renovation so it's worth cleaning like this!

I love your response to your husband, to hire a cleaner if he wants it 'all cleaned on the same day' etc. As a single mum I think that it's a great tip to tell myself! If I expect it 'all clean on the same day I should pay for a cleaner'... and that I can't do 8 hours straight of cleaning either. Very inspirational video, I'm so grateful you took the time to make this. Excellent presentation. I like your unscripted style, very easy to hear someone who is approachable and friendly.

@tomorrowkiddo Thank you! Don't be too hard on yourself-your kids want to be with you, not watch you kill yourself cleaning all the time!
