Apple iPad 3G 64GB goes crazy! Bugs out, then freezes and crashes

This has happened more than once. It first happened when I was playing We Rule. The soft keyboard had a mind of it's own and wouldn't stop pressing keys.

I caught this one with my iPhone. I was browsing and all of a sudden, it bugged out!!??!

I don't get it. I saw someone else have a similar problem.

I finally hit sleep/wake or I have to do a full blown reboot.

@maximus6966 To fix the problem temporarily, I just hit the lock button or did a hard restart. To do the restart, hold power/sleep button and home button until the screen goes black and the Apple logo pops up. But I then had to take it to the Apple Store, show them the problem, and they replaced my iPad for a new one. I hope this helps. And thanks for the comment.

Yeah, it seems to happen very randomly. I can't reproduce the problem at will, so it's like impossible to prove it at the Apple Store. But if it gets really bad, I will take it in.

it is a sofware problem ,bugs, it has to do many times with multitouch gesture !!

till now ,i had only one issue,i closed an app with 5 fingers,and all sadden touchscreen stopped working,all the hard buttons were working fine though, i just closed tha smartcover and opened again,everything was fine, it was happen only once!!!

@MansourBros U can just connect ur iPad to iTunes and in iTunes, click Restore after Syncing has finished...

I am looking at the page indicator at the bottom of the home screen, and with the amoutn of pages, perhaps it is because u do not have enough memory, as all of the data/apps/music/file/vids/ect. are stored on the RAM since there is no HDD

I've had exactly the same issue. Comes back usually when Im using safari. Happens maybe 3-4 x per week. To temp fix it I have to hard reset it (power and home held till reboot). Then its fine for awhile again. it's positively a bug in their software or hardware dealing with the capacitive touch screen.
