  • My school is playing this at festival

  • It's very nice, i've played it last year... but the description (I,IV,V,VI mvt) is wrong... there are all 6 movements... :-)

  • were playing all 6 pieces for contest!! i love movement 4 :D

  • any conductors out there could give me some advice on conducting this piece? i have to conduct this in 3 weeks :( AHHHHH!!!!

  • All right! ( i feel evil with this sadistic glee at being critical) Trumpet! a little rocket...kept going BLAH. everything else is fine in Movement IV. I could actually hear singing :D awesome!! just needs to be a little teeensy weensy bit louder :) Sounds gorgeous. Hmm... Movement VI...trumpets should have backed off a little and let Trombones reign at around measure 10 i think. Couldnt really hear them. Really loud trills...but ok. The rest is all very nice :D Great! ^.^

  • Yeah... movement II could have had more musical depth in it. stretch the half notes balance and all that good stuff. And all the flutey stuff after the trumpet/horn/trombone(i think) trio thing...need more low notes from flute...i cant even hear 3rd flute and a little rocky there. Other than that as im listening to this right now its all very beautiful :)

  • yea. i enjoy critique-ing other bands that are gonna be playing my UIL music
