Look for soul, and not for race..
Listen, how does a free foal breathe,
and read your time by the color of autumn leafs..
Watch to the sky, you will not see your ancestors ~
but the crow or eagle or dove..
Your soul is given by the great Spirit,
so price the life, the nature and your brothers and sisters ~
you are blessed by Amazing Grace ~
and you know - we are all one!

1st of all, Jana's voice is absolutely amazing, 2nd, if you guys want to discuss whether or not the Lumbee tribe is indian or black...maybe u shouldn't do it on here- this is the place to discuss her song, voice, video-don't disgrace her video with this...especially the cursing-as a Lumbee, I can tell you that we are Indian - we were 1 of the 1st tribe that met the Euro-mercenaries in NC on Roanoke Island. We protected their lost settlers while their people were fighting the spanish armada.

se me inundan los ojos de lagrimas no se ingles ,pero el solo esucharla me llena el alma

My respects to the people that get offended by the mixup on the language or to what tribe Jana belongs too. We should be proud to have such a talented american native woman representing our native cultures.

Beautiful!!!

This song is being sung in Catawba......Calling it Lumbee (which has no language other than English) is a bold faced lie!

All I can say to that is Amen. Love the Earth, Love your brothers and Love yourself. The old ways are the best ways. Love and respect to all is the way. Great Spirit Bless.
