Yeah ... this game is awesome. I never understood why it was not nearly as successful as WoW ... it had way better graphics and way more to do, but still I never played it for long. But I came back every year to play it again. Since I heard the awesome music it kept coming back into my mind and making me play the game again for a while

My fave music was for The Forest Ruins. It was a short clip from the Obelisk of Vul (which not everyone got to). So atmospheric.

Shame the game doesn't have the quality going in it any more. These days SOE just loves to rush everything and push out shit. EQ2 used to be good and had so much potential, they released it before it was ready and it failed however... story of SOE's life lol.

@wkunzelman1 Yes, indeed. With EQ2X the game is taking off... but with another attack on Sony, it has only become worse.

@Summoner7 Ah everquest 2, this game will always top any other current mmorpg's. It had that great atmosphere of social, adventure, and never ending things to do. I played WoW longer then everquest 2 but when I could think of great memories playing an mmo it would be everquest 2 hands down. Can't wait for everquest 3, If it had everquest 2 idea's with it (Probably the only game done right with player housing). Wizard from Antonia Bayle ;]
