Big Chevies are a dime a dozen and weigh more than the ford. Just as long as you don't morse-code the throttle like a monster truck in the boat it should kick bootay.

sounds really good :) watch out revin a new motor with ur hand cause ive seen heads blow off and almost take hands off ! if u dont want to buy vp racing fuel , dump paint thinner in regular fuel makes it the same thing

better watch out dude. it might blow up haha. i had a 460 in my jet boat and i only got to take it out 3 times and it threw a rod... and i wasnt even getting on it at the time.... lame... sounds nice tho

650 DP Holley is the right carb for a jet boat anywhere close to stock. I had a 454 in a Jet with mild cam and "AA" impeller and ran a 650. Worked perfect.

have a 800 dp on there now also have a AA impeller that works well together
