i jut had my braces a week ago, top and bottom, and I could say that the first five days are the saddest days of my life because I cannot eat anything. Seems like I cannot move my jaw and can't open my mouth. And just realized now that I have to sacrifice the food that I love to eat..poor me, but for the sake of a beutiful smile,,I know I can do it.

I remember when I got my braces, I just had a lot of juice & water & ice cream the first couple of days... but I still have whole freakin 9 months until I get them off!

you'll get used to it eventually. trust me. it feels weird for like 1-2 weeks. then it feels like it did before you had them when you eat.
