I really do love this ad. The grandmother was proud of her daughter, proud of herself and not the least bit threatened by the fact that her daughter tried something new and better for her grandchild. It is a great example of positive parenting. What might help convert people like CATMANDU75 is facts on how much WIC mothers SAVE if they don't get trapped into having to buy the formula. The so called free formula isn't, both our government and the mothers ultimately pay far more.

What is disgusting is shameless propaganda on the part of the formula industry to push formula on women who then end up spending more money on the additional ear infections, diarrhea, and endless other childhood diseases that the American Academy of Pediatrics has stated have SOLID evidence of being more frequent among formula fed babies. All of us pay the price when women are discouraged from feeding their babies normally -- from the breast.
