Patrese,Pironi and De Cesaris deserved to win much more than Daly that GP,if you remember...

Derek is a cheat and liar.

Derek Daly was a good driver, overall.
It always bothered me that Raul Boesel (who was nowhere near as good a driver) got good rides in CART over in the states while Derek generally did not.

@richie1438 ...almost half a dozen drivers were very unlucky not to win at Monaco in '82 - Alain Prost, Didier Pironi, Andrea de Cesaris, Derek Daly, Nigel Mansell. Even though this was the craziest grand prix finsh ever, the story is the same as in every other race: one man wins, 19 men in the pitlane say afterwards that they would have won if only.....

Daly was very unlucky not to win Monaco '82 if I recall right, & he's Irish he's a hero to me. :D
