variety is key I trained for special forces for 3 years and as a result detrained when i was not selected. Too much cardio. Too little sleep. Too early working out. (Testosterone at 6 AM?) Not enough money! Too many idiots. But anyways. I would watch for signs of the CNS failure like Adrenal deficit and depression. Work out when you want to. And for all you ex athletes like cops, soldiers too, do proprioception exercises and follow Chek to recondition yourself. Sleep.
