  • I don't understand your title forgotten anne boleyn is one of the least forgotten wives of henry 8th she is most talk about one in books, movies and shows. Good example is the tudors from all henry wives she the one that got most on screen scenes then all them. She is the only wife I know that there is a movie just about her rise and fall Anne of the Thousand Days. If u know any other movies just about any of henry other wives like katherine or jane i would like 2 know.

Both Anne and Kathryn were forgotten by Henry VIII. After their executions Henry made sure neither would be spoken of again in his presence.

  • What a wonderful slideshow! 5 stars!

Anne Boleyn is my favourite Tudor queen, a great spirit misunderstood by many - now and then.

What is that beautiful song called?

  • It's called 'Rush', I forget who it's sang by, but it's off the Dreamfall Longest Journey soundtrack.

  • Wow! Look at those pictures. Some of which I've never ever seen before. Love it. The music fits very well, too. Which one are the most realistic portraits of both women?

  • Well, for Anne, I'm guessing all of them could be most like her, since no painting from her time as even been considered her, but I'd go with 0:46.

For Kathryn, it's gonna be the miniature at 0:55.

  • Nie zgadzam się że zapomniane !!! Wręcz przeciwnie:) W dalszym ciągu budzą ciekawość nie tylko historyków , badaczy ale i zwykłych ludzi.

  • @RavennaBathory

Morally and theologically, of course not, politically, he was the King, and could do what he wanted. I noticed you use "Bathory" in your You Tube name. I assume this is after the Countess Elizabeth Bathory of Hungary, who got away with quite a bit of bloodletting (literally) before she finally was walled up in a cell. Had she been a reigning queen in her own right, she would have gotten away completely. This is not about gender, it is about power.

  • They are not forgotten Queen

  • @PhillyGal4Ever

Do you think it was alright for Henry to commit adultery as he did ?

  • Anne definitely did not deserve her fate. Katherine on the other hand was extremely stupid honestly it was the Tudor times did she really think she could get away with adultery?

  • is it just me or do most of the pictures look like Katheryn is older than Anne? It looks as though the pictures of Anne should be Katheryn and v.v. Of course, it's not but Katheryn really does look older than Anne. apart from the one at 0:55 but the others...wow. And you know the pictures at 1:00 which ones who and is that at they're death?

  • @chigsee You can see it that way too. I agree that Anne did not deserve her punishment. Katherine was just to young to know what she was doing and did not know how high the risk was.

  • @Schaetzchen95

Katherine was not part of the Boleyn family, it was Anne who was part of the Howard family. So it should really be the Howards had no luck (if what you say about Thomas Boleyn is true then IMO he deserved what he got considering he apparently showed no love and provided no help to his children when they were sentenced to death)

Anne and Katherine both did not deserve the fates that met them, particularly Anne who truly loved Henry, and was never unfaithful to him.
