@ian1856 i am a ballet dancer and I saw both Baryshnikov & Carlos dance. I used 2 live in London, so saw Carlos many times. Saw Baryshnikov dancing live only couple of years ago when he was 60+, when he was younger - only recorded of course. I obviously should not argue with you because everyone is entitled 2 his own opinion. Also I obviously compare them at a certain age as Misha is older. I prob prefer Carlos bcse he is sexier. But to say that "Misha" was never as clean is.. its just not true

@ivorystone5 Well, I KNOW you don't know what you're talking about, because not only have I seen Baryshnikov dance on many occasions, I used to take (Sasha Minsk's)class with him. When and where did you see him dance, and what qualifies your expertise!

@ian1856 i dont think you have ever seen Baryshnikov dance bcse you would not say so. I admire Carlos Acosta's technique though as well as Baryshnikov's

To all the people who think there are people that do this cleaner than Carlos and that he is overrated...... Do you even know what ballet is? He's a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet. One of the best companies in the world. Did you even see the way that he slowed his pirouttes down at the end? That takes an immense amount of control!!! He is truly one of the best male dancer of all time.

God! He is absolutely amazing! This is video is a proof that he is one of the best dancers in the world. What dynamic form and still what graceful flow not to mention the perfect physique. He is as if Michaelangelo's David came into life and dancing on the stage :))

Well Baryshnikov is obviously up there with the greats, and i saw the sbt video you said, I still prefer Carlos, hes elevation is gorgeous! So much strength and variety in everything he does :) Hes a babe, every male dancer should asppire to be him
