@jesusfreaknitsud they werent a christian band.. josh sattler (bass player) is my father and i would alays go on tour with the band... i know its not a christian band

Donnie needs to get his voice back on the air. Very tallented rock singer. Give him a good back up band and I could listen all night.

@harmansmith84 i'm a Jesus Freak and proud of it!!! Who cares whether or not they were a Christian Band. If you would HEAR rather than listen. he sings Jesus Christ and Heaven have always been there then says you gotta believe in what's real!!! He was in pain over a loved one's death so don't take the Truth from the song!!! God uses all of us!!!! Even YOU!!!

I think a band can write about some sort of faith and not be considered a Christian band. Everyone makes references to God, because it is the most elusive and mysterious part of our life (faith); i wouldn't consider doubleDrive a Christian band, but they're really really really amazing.

They where not a "christian band" The song was written with Donnie and Dick Sheetz. It was something they had talked about for a long time. Donnie and him came up with the song when Dick was about to pass away. Dick's belived in the band and it made a imprint on them. Dick died the nite Donnie finished the song. and harmansmith84 finish the lyrics. "you got to believe in whats real, you got to go with what you know, Jesus Christ and heaven has always been there.
