@ilovegod300 I would say it was much more complicated than just that. Bears had Flutie and Fuller. Young wasn't with the 49ers in 81 or 84 by the way. The Ginats won with HOSS in the 90's by the way not the 80's. And the Skins won in 82 with Theisman. Your post is off all over the place.

Very perceptive announcing team. I *always" grab my ribs when I injure my hamstring.

@Gemini700 One of my favorite all-time jokes:
Hey, did you hear the Giants' whole offense made the Pro Bowl?
Yeah. Ali Haji-Sheikh! COOL!
The Skins almost had Richie Petitbon kicking for them this season. They couldn't find ANYBODY who could put one through. Then A H-S sets a Super Bowl record...for most XPs. LOL.

Whenever Coach Joe put 28 back there it was a message:
Guys, this is big.
BLOCK.

@panthersXyankees89 If you look at the dominant teams of the 80's - 49ers, Giants, Redskins, and Bears; there is one drastic difference between Chicago and those other teams; at QB & back-up QB. The 49ers won with Montana, but had Young just in case. The Skins had Schroeder, but had Williams just in case. The Giants had Simms, but won with Hostetler as the back-up. The Bears had an often-injured Jim McMahon, and no reliable back-ups. Those other 3 teams won multiple Super Bowls; the Bears won 1.
