Buy the K&N FIPK: http://www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/61A1914A0A0.aspx

The FIPK Intake is K&N's most advanced Air Intake. Today, we install it on a 1997 Acura Integra. Installation steps are similar for most vehicles, find one for your ride at AutoAnything: http://www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/61A1914A0A0.aspx

  • Can I ask, when you install a cold air intake to your car, is it really necessary for an ECU tuning?

  • @driftsilvia16 Generally, no, you don't need an ECU tune...after installing the CAI, you want to reset the ECU and it force a retune of the engine to ensure safe parameters. That said, you can usually get more power by combining an ECU tune with engine mods. If your goal is more power, a tuner should help you maximize gains.

  • I thinking about getting the FIPK for my 95 Escort Gt, first upgrade as well, is there anything i should know or consider before i purchase and install this? If anyone can answer thatd be great, thanks.

  • @Imamonkee108 It should be a good upgrade for you! Installation is pretty easy, as shown above, and it should give you a decent bump in horsepower and torque.

If you decide to make the purchase, please buy from AutoAnything! We guarantee you'll get the best price for up to one year after your purchase. We'll also ship it for free, and we have an Exclusive 90-day guarantee on the FIPK: install it and try it out for 90 days. If you don't love it, you can return it for a full refund.

  • @AutoAnything i found it on ajusa . com for 36 dollars cheaper so i bought from them. Theirs was 191 and your was 226 i think

  • @ttimothyp16 Thanks for the heads up, I'm sorry to hear that. Just so you know, if you had called our sales department and asked for a price match, we would have beat their final price by $10. And if you found it for a lower price up to 1 year after your purchase, we would have refunded you the difference again.
