why is it that in this world people worship stupid fucking movie stars and singers when pilots like this guy didnt even get his name mentioned by the dull fucking reporter....i want that guy on my plane any day !

@kennethcharlesrhea the pilot had to have told the passengers they were gunna do an emergency landing, i would think having the tv's on would lessen the "panic" as people could watch other things to keep their mind off of it. there are like 25 channels you get.

@invaliduser1000 Unsafe? This is the only emergency landing ever, and there have never been ANY crashes on JetBlue. Sounds pretty safe to me.

@Hobinator17 The feed to the tv's was turned off once it was discovered that the plane was being filmed. This was done to keep the passengers from panicking and getting crazy. Personally, I would've liked to watch the landing on the tv from inside the plane (if I were unfortunate enough to be on board that day).
