The lag from the video comes from the VBA itself. Any lag that the VBA takes, is recorded by the hypercam.

If the VBA were to record from itself, there would be ZERO lag in the recording, even if it lagged during recording. The down to this is that the PET isn't in there.

But does the PET serve a purpose? o_O

And why don't you do this? XD
