  • Good video. I've never seen a ThyssenKrupp with a floor indicator like that before. It must be a new kind of model/design.

  • Those are the Aurora fixtures. These fixtures pretty much replaced the Impulse.

  • What might be going on is that the pistons are out of sync (assuming is a holeless hydro). Did it shake a lot?

  • It shook a little when the indicator changed from 2 to 1. But after it stopped it still was making the creaking noise.

  • Sounds like a balance issue.

    I'd call it a Death Trap.

  • Pretty much. This is how I see some of the new Otis hydraulics do.

    Yep. Some actually ride well.

    I have one at the Leominster Public Library, where it rides well, doesn't sound too good with the creaking.

    Got to love Chineese quality.
