i really loved his performance, but i met him 3 times after the show and the first time i thought he was pretty nice just shy, but the second two he was a total jerk. it makes me sad because it kind of dims his performace in my memory. he already has a big head. the rest of the cast were total sweeties though.

be in through the majority of the show: emotionally fractured, seemingly hopeless, and in mental preparation to die. I also didn't account for the difficulty of rehearsing in such a state. Here I am fully committed to the reality of a life-or-death scene... and then a 10 minute break is called and I have to talk myself down from my almost-suicidal state only to have to reinvest in the scene moments later. Emotional rollercoaster? Si.

thanks for posting that...that makes me feel a little bit better. i just dont understand why the rest of the cast is ok. maybe he's just not as mentally tough as the rest of them. roger is a really complex role so, i'll cut him some slack...and try hard to remember the first time i saw him and not the others!

Roger is probally the most complex role. and while other rogers may not get into the role and put themselves compleatly in it, bryce does, and that makes me love and respect him a whole bunch more. he's really humble too. i would go on that link i sent you and read all his blogs. it made me love him so much more.

Not to mention extremely nice! I told him that I was a big roger fan and that I had the same b-day as adam (which i really do, october 25) and he's like, oh that's great! Tracy's obviously the only smart person here, tee-hee. I love Tracy, I was the last person to catch her for an autograph and say hi after the show before she left. My fave Maureen after Dee!!

I saw the tour on the 23rd sunday.

I love rent. It has the perfect mix of comedy real and real life drama.
