installation instructions and specs for complete information.

Today we are going to install part number 91309 from Agri-Cover, and this is their Vanish low-profile roll-up tonneau cover. And we are going to install this on a 2006 Ford Super Duty long-bed pickup. Our first step involved is go ahead and, we are going to do the side rails first. What is going to happen is the rail is going to fit on the inside edge of the bed, pushed all the way to the front of the box. And you want this edge to match the top edge of your bed rail. Once you have it the way you want it, you go ahead and clamp it into place. Then we will go back with the regular, permanent clamps. Go up as far as you can on the bed. And then the other half is adjustable where it matches the teeth in the rail. Now, you want to install your clamps as evenly as possible across the rail.

Next, we will install the tensioners. And there is a nut that is already in the channel here, so we will just go ahead and put our tensioner in there. And install our bolt - just start it into place. Now, we are not going to tighten it up because we still have to adjust it back and forth. And this part gets attached to the rails, and what that does is it actually moves the tonneau in and out, as needed, to get the tension that you want. We will go ahead and put the tonneau cover itself with the front rail and we will put it on the truck. We will put it up toward the cab. Now put your tensioners to the inside so the attachment can go back to the frame rail right here. And, once you have it in alignment right here, go ahead and run your bolt through. Now, it is not going to be a perfect alignment so the bolt will actually thread its way through. But you will put a nut on the bottom of it also. Once you have this tightened down, you can go ahead and tighten down the nut that holds the crossmember in place up front.

You are probably going to have to take a few test runs of rolling up the tonneau cover and see how it fits in the back. If it is too tight or too loose, then you will have to adjust it up front here. And all you have got to do is spin this dial right here, whichever way you need to go. We did it in 1/4-inch increments until we found out the best way to tighten it down. Once you have it the way you want it, just roll it out, and then it just locks into place. Then you just go ahead and seal down your sides. Next, you want to check for proper clearance on your tailgate. And it is OK if the tailgate kind of pushes it up just a little bit. To unroll it, just undo this latch right here. And you also have an additional, manual latch on the other side, too. And just roll it up when you need access to the truck bed. It also comes with straps to tie it down when you need to use the truck as a truck. It has these little loops they go in two in the front. All right, that covers it for part number 91309 from Agri-Cover, their Vanish low-profile roll-up tonneau cover.
