Ariens snowblower basic review. The Ariens is made of mostly steel construction as opposed to those Chinese models that have lots of plastic that can crack or break. It costs a lot more than the Chinese models but should last much longer and have fewer problems. I think I paid around $1000 for it in late 2009.

  • The skid plates are easily adjusted. Also, forgot to mention in video that it can be operated with one hand.

  • I am picking up a used 2009 Ariens 1130 DLE tomorrow, with less than 10 hours on it. The original owner paid $1600.00 + taxes back in 2009. I'm paying $900 for it. It's a lot I know, but this blower is just like new condition, so I'm still saving around $950-$1000.00 I figure.

Could have used it today with the snow dumping we just got, so I kept some to do, to try out the new blower. Nicely done video you did here. Thanks for sharing.

  • This overview really blew!

.....bad puns aside, thanks for the video! I decided to buy this model in the 24" version.

  • There aewsome I have that model I had to go from the 1028 to the deluxe 27 my old snow blower rear end broke. Anyhow on these units there is a black plastic what looks like a wing nut its really a wing bolt they fall off easily. The best thing to do it replace them with the metal lock wing bolt and keep a couple in the owners manual and extra sheer pin bolts bag they will always be were you no were they are. Best thing is go to the local harware store and get them before you need to use it again

  • Can you lower the skid plate???

    Thanks for the vid.

  • Solid video frisky. I have the same model. Love it!

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing. We'll add it to our AriensChannel favorites.

  • Pretty neat! Seems to do an excellent job. We've hit an all-time record for the most snow ever, in any month, at 37.8" and more on the way!
