He's right up there with Merle and George (exaggeration, I know),and we need more guys like Dale to keep real country music alive, I don't want to listen to s**t like Shania T. ...etc.
Merle, George, Dale, Lefty, Hank, Loretta, Patsy...that's country.

Well, for me it certainly is not an exaggeration, I love his music so much. I just thought I was overzealous that's all. ;-)
I actually know Dale and his pedal steel guitarist Don Pawlak, they played in Croatia last year (2009.), and since Don is half Croat, we had a few drinks with them, well more than a few... ;-)
Met them again in France this year in august, great guys.
