After hurricane Irene, the Bronx River overflowed and covered the Bronx River Parkway in some places. These scenes are from the park near the Scarsdale train station, the Ardsley Road bridge, and the intersection of the Bronx River Parkway & Harney Road in Crestwood. Taken at noon on Sunday, August 28th, 2011.
