Tripod the 3 legged duckling!

Tripod is a 3 legged duckling that hatched in our incubator on April 25, 2011 (Easter Sunday). From my research, he is one of just a few ever reported anywhere in the world! He's already been to the vet and has been given a clean "bill" of health. He is just 3 days old in this video. There will be many more videos to come.

Update: May 4, 2011 - Tripod is doing great! He's grown taller so now his extra leg doesn't drag the ground. He and his siblings are still in a brooder, but we're getting ready to move them to their new habitat in the back yard. It will be a large pen made of wire with small holes so that no snakes or other critters can get in and harm them.
