I love that episode, It's my favorite. In 45 minutes they can get you so attached to a new character that by the end you're crying.

Okay, I bawled my eyes out in this. You captured their relationship so beautifully. So, so, beautifully.

this is pretty much one of my favorite songs on the DW soundtrack...such a beautiful track full of sadness and longing...this episode always makes me cry...its a rare thing for a tv show to do that.

Astrid was a good companion. She would have been amazing, but it wasn't meant to be. I cried. All the way through Voyage of the Damned, I cried my eyes out. I whispered the word "no" as she drove over the edge and into the fire. I cried as the Doctor walked away, and I cried when he told her "No more falling." That episode broke my heart, and as much as I loved what this episode revealed about the Doctor, I will always imagine how fantastic Astrid and the Doctor could have been.

@SerenaRoberson Yeah, I always wondered that. 'Cause I see romance that portray creatures that live for ever to be all lovey dovey to ONE girl and ONE girl only but Dr Who shows that realistically, that's not true. One has many loves, even in a HUMAN lifetime.
