@yxymedia Actually a check call would be more wise b/c he still has the chance that his opponent will check...only reason he pushed was b/c he thought he had the best hand and wanted to get maximum value out of it.

Makem, Phil has 18k left for a 35k pot, he's never folding, so he might as well bet it - as Guaranteed would have called with a lot of hands that don't beat him too...
It's called betting out because the pot-odds tell you there's no other option.
