Also on this video you have added some kind of wire frame - but don't seem to be using the third can - is the frame an alternative - or is it to be used in addtion to the third can - a short vido - in daylight - could so easily remove all these confusions and make your vids really good

Your videos on the wood gas stove are good and could be excellent if you would only give a clear picture of what you do with the third can. On videos where you might be showing it they are ones filmed at night so it is very difficult to see what is going on. I THINK: you remove the top, the can is turned upside down, 4 holes are drilled and you thread 2 strong wires thru which you then use to rest thecan on the stove BUT you only do that when the wood has burnt down.

Very interesting stuff, although I don't fully understand why it burns so well with a blue flame; would you consider a video explaining the path of the gasses, and what is actually being burned to make the good blue flame? Is it gassification?

Here's what I don't understand. Traditionally you make charcoal by burning something around what you want to char; like you would fill a barrel of pellets and then light a fire around the barrel. The whole idea is that charcoal happens in absence of oxygen. How can your stove give the same result by lighting on fire the same substance you want to char and having so much air flow around it? Thanks.

Best stove, period. Thats an incredibly hot and steady flame. i just cant see how you can do better than that.

I've seen you using a third little can inside the burner can as a "flame wick". What happened to that. Would'nt it work even better?

super little pot stand! the resin on the pot looks like paraffin if you use only a forth of a tea candle or just dryer lint as starter you should be able to eliminate most of the resin. if you pre heat the pot a bit starting up higher (before you place it on your pot stand) even less resin will form. again my compliments on your genius variations.

Dude these two videos are awesome...that is one of the coolest homemade stoves I think I have ever seen. Only question is; what do you have in the inner tin for fuel? I mean it seems to burn quite a long time. Both of your channels are great and I look forward to the next vids, keep up the good work!
