yeesh, Kluzak was a mess. Held his own for a while there but Kyte was a maniac. People fault Kocur for hitting Kyte when he was down but letting up on Kyte wasn't really an option for anyone, Kocur included. He had a lot of fight in him. Kyte, lest we forget, was a really solid defenseman who owned the crease and there was hell to pay if an opposing player so much as looked sideways at his goalie. I guess Pronger kinda fits that mold but don't know if he fights like Kyte did.

Good ol' scrap. I guess you could give the decision to Kyte, but Kluzak did good.

Kyte won there..and Kyte was one of the toughest guys ever to play. People forget he was deaf...and remember him getting KO'd by Kocur and Ray....just watch a few of his other fights with yop names, and see how good this guy was! His dad was an Olympian, and he was a born athlete.

One thing with Jim Kyte fights they were always entertaining. He didn't drop em to hold on and wrestle like some guys, he threw em till someone went down.
