Although I have the utmost respect for ELP's lenghty compositions, I have to admit that I have always preferred the short version of "Fanfare for the Common Man" to the original 10-minute long version. But it's only a personal choice...

  • @jumpingjimmyaz "Original Version?" Which version would that be? It's a composition for orchestra. No 'e' in Copland, btw.

  • Ricordo che era la sigla dei programmi per l'estero, del notturno italiano di radio RAI.

  • This song reminds me of Strange Brew... Like when the hockey players are playing. xD

  • @darkangel2347 This was the New York Islanders TV intro in the early 80's.

  • @dcarroll74 Copland, not Copeland, many confuse his last name because of Stewart Copeland.

  • que buen tema no me canso de oirlo ... viva elp loco ..

  • I heard this when Channel 7 Australia did sports broadcasts and used it to open and close such broadcasts.
