The annual Mi-Careme Carnival of Nantes City is one of the largest of its kind in France, Southern Brittany. Usually taking place around March/April over 3 days of street parade of music bands, colourful floats, carnival heads. This is a major event in the calendar of Nantes city that draws thousand of people and visitors every year.
This festival usually starts on a week-end with a day parade, followed by a week day for the children and finishing the following week-end with the stunning night street parade, really a great occasion to have some fun and visit the beautiful historical and architectural town of Nantes.
