This video is the first of two videos of the submerged forest West of the Arco iron ore mine pit. The bass in the beginning of the video was protecting her nest. We saw hundreds of fish and we had an excellent time diving here. I will dive there again soon.

  • This was my first dive in the mine pits in Crosby. I expected it to be a deep cold and dark place to dive with not much to see. What I found was that the edges of the actual mines are these shallow submerged forests that are FULL of fish and neat things to see. There is the deep centers if that is what you want to see too. Since that first dive up there I have dove there 9 times. The clarity of the water is unreal for Minnesota.

  • We went on a field trip to the mine lakes in crosby, i so badly wanted to go scuba diving!! :)
