it depends heavily on the condition of your motor and how much maintenance you perform before you swap it in. You can get a stock rb25 in a car for around 5k give or take, but for power levels like this I would say anywhere in the 15k-20k range buying quality parts. If you can't justify 1k for cams, or 1k for an exhaust manifold or 1k for a good clutch, etc then these power levels aren't for you.

but that gsxr, either the retard didn't know what he was doing..or he deffinently let off..i mean no offense, an rb25 pulls hard until redline..but against a bike..theres only a few cars that could do that

Well when you understand the fact that an 05 gsxr 600 will trap ~133 in the quarter, and this car traps 135+ it seems like the race was a fair one. Every vehicle in the video was giving it their all. It's the bikes that are bigger than 600cc that are hard to touch.

@klh6686 man ur talkin crack prices!! i no where u can get the RB25DET swap for $1500+freight and that is a COMPLETE RUNING ENGINE (intake,throttle body,injectors,fuel rail, ignition system, exhaust manifold with turbo, alternator, water pump, power steering,etc) and u get the 5speed trans and clutch n flywheel and all the linkage, all the sensors with the whole wiring harness AND THE ECU ... shipped to your house and u can get the RB26DETT for $3,000 shipped to ur house

@fitzroy240sx nope I sold the car to find another s13, the kid blew the engine within a week! lol so yeah this winter or spring i'll be shopping for another s13, the s14 was nice but not as much fun

@klh6686 the price for an rb25 has dropped like crazy so i'm selling my sr20 to do one. I have an engine source in canada that will sell me one for 1700 with everything, harness plug and play 300 bucks, install kit close to 500. Me and the fellas drop it in
