Twilight Princess: Bottle + Broken Sign = Crash the Game

How to do this
1. Break a sign into pieces.
2. Pick up a piece of the sign.
3. Use a full bottle. It doesn't matter what is in the bottle. It can be oil, red potion, chu jelly, water, bee larva, etc.
4. Walk around a bit.
5. Press "A" when it says "Throw" on the screen.

After using a bottle and dropping a piece of the broken sign, the game still thinks you have a piece of the broken sign in your hand. So, when you try to throw something that isn't actually in your hand, the game crashes.

AFAIK, the only places where you can do this are Ordon Village and Kakariko Village. I can't think of other places where you can break a sign into pieces.

This also works on Wii.

EDIT: I crashed the game in Castle Town using a bottle and a dog bone. Apparently, if Link is holding any item in one hand that drops after using a bottle, you can then crash the game. AFAIK, the only things that meet those requirements are broken sign pieces and dog bones. I can't think of anything else that Link can hold in one hand that will drop to the ground when you use a bottle. If there is something else though, you can use it to crash the game.

what happens if you emty the bottle then pick back up the sigh? will it still crash the game

@PokeChick9119 It will only crash if you press A to throw, but won't crash if you pick the broken sign piece back up.

Why would you want to crash your game, anyway? I fail to see the point in this...

@awakenedlink37 It was an accident the first time I did this. I didn't want to crash my game. I was just screwing around when it happened. When I figured out exactly what caused it, I decided to make a video...mainly because it is so random. There are so many things in this game (wolf Link glitches and such) that should crash the game but don't. But yet something this stupid does...

I'd want to do this but I'm just too scared of damaging my disc. =S No matter how safe I'm told it is, there's always that creeping fear. Aw well.
