Sweden has left its very own footprints on trance history. One of the names responsible for that fact is Sebastian Brandt. He first hit the spotlights with his team-up of Selu Vibra, together with Ludvig Holm. Their 'Divine' and 'Stargazing', today's classics, called in a slew of very successful solo productions. 'Serenade', 'Technology' and 'So Cold' were followed by the honorable mission to produce the official theme for Armin van Buuren's 450th episode of the A State of Trance radioshow.
Previous successes already proved that the Brandt sound is more than uplifting trance put together with beats, but with this EP he does nothing else but giving us a big, phat confirmation of it. 'Ashes' kicks off an energetic anthem of trance mayhem, building strong and unfolding to a melodic masterpiece in its very core. But Sebastian's got two faces, and that's exactly what 'Fabricator' indulges you with. A minimalistic yet rich build-up, gentle dreamscape to follow and a deep melody that crawls under your skin, all the ingredients to make 'Fabricator' stand out completely.
A shiny strong duo, set to make the crowds forget about everything for a while!

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • @DMess91 +1

  • Calmer and more mysterious vibe than I'm used to from Brandt - love it :)

  • @Sulinay thats indeed the only reason I can think of to release it on ASOT label :P

  • @DennisVlaanderen Yup, see your point. But I meant ASOT like the radioshow though. I guess it would have been unpractical to release both tracks separately since fabricator is just a "tag along" to ashes.

  • @Sulinay I kind of like but I don't understand why this release is on the ASOT label. Seems more of a perfecto track to me...

  • Great track! It doesn't fit the standard omgASOT trance, so naturally, there will be alot of flamers on this one. I think it is great that we have producers that makes something new and full of quality instead of those who make tracks only to fit the trends.

  • @scientiesto Versatility. Learn what it means.

  • Great to know that Seb can experiment, and more importantly, that he can actually make it work when he does!
