@crackz123 In conclusion: Cuba is a an oppressive, oligarchic, violent and cruel regime disguised as a communist/socialist system which has cemented its power through the abolition of Cubans' constitutional and God-given rights and through the brainwashing of numerous foreign idiots like you through propaganda. It has corrupted and rotted away Cuban society and it shows in the fact that Nobody goes to live in Cuba, but EVERYBODY wants to get out!!!! And crackz123, stop the hypocrisy.
@crackz123 "This gov't is acting for the people"... surely it acts for the people when it sinks a boat full of Cubans (old and young men women and children) attempting to leave the biggest jail in the world, and watches them DROWN right next to their boats. Tell that to those who have had relatives killed because of voicing their opinions, tell that to the dissidents who get beaten and taken to jail every day for only stepping out of their front door and use their God-given FREEDOM!
@crackz123 in Cuba everybody has access to a medical system that is severely short on medicines, needles, and BASIC goods. My mother worked in the medical field and it was common to use ciringes many times because the government would not provide them. It was accepted even in the highest office of medicine of my city! The things that happen behind the curtains would make you cringe, you idiot!
@crackz123 The "Revolucion Energetica" is an utter failure. Say otherwise to the people of my town and of every other town in the country who is disrupted almost daily by HOUR LONG light shutdowns... How about the hundreds of patients of the mental hospital of Havana who died of COLD because the hospital's windows were broken, because they had nothing to cover them, not even an old rag???? And you call this system "exemplary"??? Give me a break!
@crackz123 Yeah right, it acts for the people when it CENSORS and OPPRESSES free speech, ABOLISHES right to free travel, treats cubans as LESS than tourists in their own hotels, pays them in pesos when they require dollars to purchase, ENDS with the famous rationing system leaving millions without food, BEATS and TORTURES political prisoners, LAUNDERS money, introduces DRUGS into the island, calls its own people "terrorists, worms, and drug traffickers" because they migrate abroad.
@crackz123 Did I ever say they did not suffer under Batista? NO! and are they not suffering under the Castro dictatorship? YOU ANSWER ME AND STOP RUNNING AROUND THE ANSWER, HIPOCRIT!
@crackz123 EXCUSE ME? you are talking to a libertarian who has wholeheartedly supported a candidate which I think would set the US system straight, for the sake of our own welfare. I react based on facts and not emotions. I do not believe any propaganda and trust me, I do not watch one news channel.. my view of Cuba as a dictatorship comes from the fact I was born in Cuba, suffered for many years under that system, and 2/3s of my family still lives there. Try understanding that.
@TheCF221 to make it clear.. no government is perfect.. but this gvt is acting for the people and is going forward.. just read about "revolution energetica" for example.. the USA is going the backwards.. more and more poor people and the rich gain more and more power over the mass... 18.000 people dying a year just because they dont get medical service... that are circumstances of a third world country happening in the USA. in cuba everybody has access to medical service.._everybody_
@TheCF221 what are u talking about? the cubans suffered under the PRO US dictatorship.
without the support of the US (and why they are supporting such a dictator? because they are PROFITING from it). in that time they were slaves of the USA. u cant avoid this insight by talking about the definiton.. cuba was the red light district and casino district of the USA. shortly after castro came, LAS VEGAS were founded. no comment on that
